Tiger Woods is currently out of action for about 2 months after undergoing back surgery.
On his deathbed, the 39-year-old legend will probably feel more “painful” when the person who has been with him for 12 years (from 1999-2011) speaks ill of him.
In the newly released autobiography titled “Out of the Rough”, Steve Williams – the caddy who once assisted Woods – suddenly revealed
that he was treated horribly during his time serving the famous American golfer.
“Woods is famous for his erratic temper. Not infrequently, he threw the sticks on the floor and ordered me to pick them up. That action is like treating a slave.
In addition, he also has another very bad habit, spitting into the hole after an unsuccessful putt.”
The 51-year-old caddy also affirmed that he did not know about Woods’ sex scandal until the incident was exposed in the newspaper. “Only a few friends close to him know. Tiger didn’t reveal anything to me. If I knew, I would not tolerate that kind of behavior.”
“I have no sympathy for what he did. Many people think that I am his accomplice and covering up for him. My life has therefore become more complicated and tiring,” the New Zealand caddy affirmed.
After being fired by Woods in 2011, Williams did not take long to find a new job. As a caddy, he helped Adam Scott win the WGC-Bridgestone Invitational just a month later.
