Rihanna fans across the globe have been rejoicing over the news that the Diamonds singer has given birth to her second child with boyfriend A$AP Rocky.
While the star has yet to reveal her baby’s name, her dedicated followers reckon they’ve sussed the newborn’s moniker, thanks to a glaring clue.
In May last year, it emerged that the Barbadian musician had given birth to her first child, a son.
It took a whole year for A$AP – real name Rakim Athelaston Mayers – to reveal their son’s name, confirming in May this year that he was called RZA
Taking after the Wu-Tang Clan leader of the same name (whose real name is Robert Fitzgerald Diggs).
This could mean that it may be quite some time until we find out what name Rihanna and A$AP have gone for with their second child… but of course, that hasn’t stopped fans from speculating.
When it was revealed that the couple’s first child was called RZA, it was immediately spotted that the entire family had names beginning with R
With the child’s parents being called Rihanna and Rakim, of course.
So, it stands to reason that their second child might have a name beginning with R as well.
But what name would they go for?
If the music superstars turned to Wu-Tang Clan for more inspiration, they might have chosen Raekwon, the stage name of one of the founding members of the hip hop group.
‘You heard it hear first….. Rihanna probably gonna name her son Raekwon,’ one person tweeted.
‘What if Rihanna names their 2nd baby Rae? Short for Raekwon since they have the hip hop name theme?
I feel like that would be cute whether it’s a boy or girl,’ another wrote, before finding out that the baby was a boy.
Someone else added: ‘I bet Rih and Rocky named their second son Raekwon.
It just fits. Rihanna, Rakim, RZA, and Raekwon like come ON.’
However, there were other guesses… including Rihanna Jr and Rocky.
To be honest, that would be an extremely cute option, in our opinion.
Following the birth of his second child with Rihanna, A$AP was photographed while out and about, beaming from ear to ear after becoming a family of four.
