Warriors superstar Stephen Curry was ruled out for Tuesday’s In-Season Tournament game against the Timberwolves while dealing with an injury.

Curry is reportedly believed to have sustained a sprain in his right knee and is expected to undergo further evaluations to determine the severity of the injury and a possible timeline to return

According to Shams Charania of The Athletic.

Charania reports that Curry is not expected to miss much time with the injury, though he’s already been ruled out on Tuesday’s clash at home against Minnesota.

Golden State plays the Thunder in each of its next two games, set for Thursday, Nov. 16, and Saturday, Nov. 18.

Curry has featured in each of the Warriors’ first 11 games this season. He’s averaging 30.7 points, 4.6 rebounds, and 3.9 assists per game, while shooting at a 44.6% clip from three-point range.

The Warriors initially described Curry’s absence on Tuesday as being caused by right knee soreness, though Charania’s report indicates that the 35-year-old is actually dealing with a sprain.

Tuesday will be the first game Curry has missed this season. He featured in 56 games last season, and has not made more than 70 regular season appearances in a single season since 2016–17
