Announced he’s going to sell the Carolina Panthers, Diddy, Colin Kaepernick and Steph Curry were a few who quickly expressed interest in owning some of the franchise via Twitter.
However, the Warriors star only wrote, “I want in!”
It’s tough to tell how serious Curry is from those few words, but in an interview with ESPN’s Rachel Nichols that’ll air on ABC on Christmas Day
The Panthers fan explains why he’d actually like to own a part of the team.
“I’m serious, I’m really serious about that,” Curry says, per the transcript shared by Nichols “I think it’s such a unique opportunity to impact my hometown. Just an unprecedented, unique situation, and knowing kind of what the storylines are around the NFL right now maybe having a hand in that. So we’ll see how that plays out and whoever wants to come watch Cam (Newton) and everybody, hopefully win Super Bowls.”
After Curry’s response, his teammate Kevin Durant hilariously chimed in, saying he’d also like to get in on ownership, but only if he can rep his team, the Washington Redskins.
That should be a fun interview to watch. The Warriors play against the Cavaliers at 3 p.m. ET on ABC on Christmas Day
