David Beckham revealed the one ‘regret’ he has about his son Brooklyn following his wedding to wife Nicola Peltz.
Billionaire heiress Nicola and David’s eldest son Brooklyn wed in April 2022, the England football legend splashed out on a gift that his son and daughter-in-law could enjoy.
After the wedding at Nicola’s family’s £76 million beach house, which reportedly cost £3 million, guests were asked to donate to a Ukraine charity to help those affected by war,
but David presented the pair with an electric 1954 Jaguar.
David – who recently threw his wife Victoria a star-studded £250,000 50th birthday party – drove the baby blue XK140,
which had been converted to electric by 120 people in restoration and electrification company Lunaz, to the ceremony.
Founder & CEO of Lunaz David Lorenz, said: “In creating this beautiful, electrified Jaguar XK140, we are honoured to bridge the gap between David Beckham’s professional life, where he is an investor in Lunaz and his family life.
“This remarkable car is the perfect gift to his son Brooklyn and daughter-in-law, Nicola on their wedding day.
“In every respect, this extraordinary electric classic car by Lunaz symbolises a bright, positive future.”
However, David has now revealed he regrets giving the impressive car away.
David’s mum Sandra also got Adam Claridge to create personalised Nike Air Force 1 trainers for Nicola.
The shoes had personal drawings on them and the word ‘Bunny’ cold be seen on them, which is her grandmother’s nickname.
There were also butterflies, roses a cherub tattoo just like Brooklyn’s.
Nicola wrote of her wedding list: “My dad spoke about this in his wedding at our wedding. Me and Brooklyn are devastated about what is going on in Ukraine and have asked for donations to CareOrg in lieu of wedding gifts.
“Anything helps.”
David Beckham’s gift of an electric 1954 Jaguar to his son Brooklyn and daughter-in-law Nicola Peltz was certainly a generous and meaningful gesture. The electric classic car, converted by Lunaz, symbolizes a bright and positive future for the newlyweds.
However, in a recent interview, David revealed that he now regrets giving away the impressive car. It seems that the sentimental value of the gift has made David sentimental as well.
Aside from the electric Jaguar, Nicola also received personalized Nike Air Force 1 trainers from David’s mum Sandra. The trainers featured personal drawings and the nickname ‘Bunny,’ which is a special touch that reflects Nicola’s family connections.
It’s heartwarming to see the thought and care put into these gifts for the newly married couple. It’s clear that family is important to the Beckhams, and they aim to make every occasion special and memorable.
As Nicola mentioned in her wedding message, the couple is devastated by the situation in Ukraine and has requested donations to CareOrg in lieu of wedding gifts. This gesture shows their compassion and desire to make a positive impact during difficult times.
