A slew of This Morning fans were unimpressed with Ben Shephard as they branded him “irritating”.
They couldn’t help but notice that the 49-year-old Tipping Point star was repeatedly taking his glasses off and putting them back on, which some found rather distracting. Viewers quickly took to Twitter to voice their annoyance during the ITV show.
Angry fans took to the platform, previously known as X, to plead for the ex-GMB star to either quit playing with his specs or switch to “contact lenses”. One viewer vented: “FFS Ben, either leave the glasses on or permanently take them off #ThisMorning.”

In other news from earlier this week, chaos erupted on the daytime favourite when Ben’s co-host Cat Deeley had to leave the programme mid-interview due to illness. Ben was left to present the rest of the segment alone, joking: “You’re in good hands Cat, we’ve got two doctors here,” before quickly regaining control of the show. Upon her return, Ben asked Cat: “Are you alright? ,” to which she replied: “‘I think so, just about.”
Later, after returning from an ad break, she explained: “I’ve got a bit on a runny eye but i’ll be okay.”
