Kelly Ripa was missing once again from this morning’s Live with Kelly and Mark.
While the ABC morning show’s announcer Deja Vu filled in on Monday’s show, Jane Krakowski stepped in as co-host on Tuesday’s brand new episode. After Consuelos praised Krakowski as a “fan of the show,” the 30 Rock alum took a moment to bask in the “Kelly Ripa magical lighting” at the host desk alongside Mark Consuelos.
“I’ve never looked this good in my life,” she quipped.
Consuelos conceded, “It’s pretty good.”
Krakowski also relayed a startlingly hilarious Uber ride story, revealing that she once discovered her driver “peeing into a bottle” in the back seat. While she teased that she “thought [she’d] get free Ubers for life” after that, she ultimately lamented that “there was zero compensation.”
“And guess what? The New Yorker in me,” she began while cracking up. “It was too long to wait for another Uber, so I let him go to the front seat and I got in the back, and he drove me home!”
Consuelos expressed his understanding before asking, “Did he say, ‘Excuse me, I’m sorry’?”
Krakowski replied, “Ish.”
“It was rough,” she added. “I’d never experienced anything like that.”

Where Is Kelly Ripa?
While the episode was previously recorded, Live fans will recognize that the installment was filled with all brand new content. A production source informed DECIDER that Live has guest-hosts with Mark this week for brand new shows including Deja Vu, Maria Menounos and Jenny Mollen.
Consuelos and Krakowski’s host chat was also cut short for viewers at home by an ABC Special News Report revealing that Vice President Kamala Harris has selected Minnesota governor Tim Walz as her running mate.
Once the show returned, the two sat down with Wayne Brady.
