In the early stages of the lengthy podcast, Sophia posed a crucial question to Ayesha. She asked, “What would your advice be to someone who might be in that position; who wants to have a side hustle, who might be a mom, who’s trying to figure out how to build her vision from where she is today?”

In reply, Ayesha talked about the importance of consistency in pursuing dreams. She credited her mother for imbibing high ambitions in her early on. To signify the importance of following one’s passion, Ayesha shared a brief instance from after giving birth to her first child. “After having my first daughter, I was kind of miserable. Probably leaning post-partum. I didn’t realize it. But I realized I’m making my husband miserable, not giving my child good energy – and why is that? I realized at the time I wasn’t pursuing my passion. And so I decided to jump into food because that’s what Ive loved my whole life. I just didn’t know I could make a career out of it.”

After finishing high school, Ayesha pursued acting but later found her true passion in cooking. After the abovementioned instance in her life, the wife of Stephen Curry started a popular blog called Little Lights of Mine. In 2014, she launched a YouTube channel with the same name, attracting a large following due to her relatable cooking style. 

In 2016, Ayesha published her first cookbook, The Seasoned Life, which became a bestseller. She then expanded her brand by creating her line of kitchenware, the Ayesha Curry Home Collection. Besides her culinary work, Ayesha and her husband, Stephen Curry, founded Eat. Learn. Play. Foundation in 2019, aiming to help underprivileged children in the Bay Area.

As of July 2023, Ayesha Curry’s estimated net worth is around $20 million.
