The NBA’s all-time 3-point leader reached another milestone and tied his own record for consecutive games with at least 1 made 3-pointer.
Already the NBA’s all-time leader in 3-point field goals made, Stephen Curry entered uncharted territory Tuesday night when he drilled his 3,000th career 3-pointer.
Curry closed out the third quarter with triple over Facundo Campazzo to become the first player in NBA history to make 3,000 career 3-pointers.
Overall, Curry finished the 89-86 loss to Denver shooting 5-for-14 on 3-pointers to give him 3,004 in his career.
In addition to that feat, Curry also matched one of his own records by hitting a 3-pointer in his 157th consecutive game.
His previous streak lasted from Nov. 13, 2004 to Nov. 3, 2016. The current streak began on Dec. 1, 2018.
The latest milestone for Curry comes two weeks after he hit his 2,974th career 3-pointer to break Ray Allen’s all-time record, which stood for nearly 11 years.
