SHOCKING: Ben Affleck was spotted in front of his ex-wife Jennifer Garner’s house every night when Jennifer Lopez was on tour! This time they have to make it official! (video)

Ben Affleck spent a few hours at his former home with his estranged wife Jennifer Lopez, 54, on Saturday.

As he left a few hours later, he had a glum look on his face while driving to his $100,000-a-month rental mansion in Brentwood.

The Air star, 51, wore a plaid shirt and scrolled through his phone while he was stopped in traffic and at lights.

Not long after Affleck arrived home, his ex-wife Jennifer Garner was seen pulling up to his house and letting herself in with a code on the security keypad.

The Alias star, 52, had to open her car door to enter the code revealing she was wearing a white sweater and had her hair pulled back with a black headband.

Ben and Lopez have been dogged by divorce speculation as they’ve been spotted looking unhappy and tense and their $60 million Bel Air mansion surfaced on real estate sites.

Recently reports have been published that the couple are on the brink of divorce.

Under a cloud of conjecture about the state of their relationship, Affleck reportedly visited Lopez at their house in Bel Air this weekend.

There are also claims that the couple are ‘living separate lives’ amid their rumored marital woes.

For weeks it has been claimed the couple’s marriage was on the rocks after the pair had not been photographed together publicly for 47 days.

What followed was a series of awkward public outings, with body language experts deducing the pair seemed ‘unhappy’ in each other’s company.

Now it’s claimed that while the pair are not ‘officially separated’ they have been spending time away from each other and looking at buying separate homes.

And Garner, who was married to Affleck from 2005 to 2018 and shares three children with him, has been there for her ex.

In fact, she’s been there for Ben so much that sources are saying her current boyfriend John Miller is growing tired of how involved she is with trying to help him.

‘Of course it bothers John that Jen is so hyper focused on her ex-husband,’ an insider told DailyMail.com exclusively.

‘He cares deeply for Ben and sympathizes with what he is going through with Jennifer, but that doesn’t mean Jen should be the one to fix her ex-husband’s issues with his current wife. That makes no sense to anyone.

‘Jen is such a caring and wonderful woman and mother and there is nothing but a deep friendship and bond between her and Ben.

‘John wants nothing more than for Ben to be okay, but it isn’t his girlfriend’s responsibility to play babysitter to him.

‘That is for Ben to figure out on his own and for his wife to handle. It isn’t Jen’s responsibility, and he has told her this.’

Miller and Garner have been dating since 2018 and a second source said he’s simply trying to stay out of it because it is none of his business.

John stays out of it, he knows it is none of his business, so he keeps away from all of that, because who wants to talk about their ex more than you have to,’ they said. ‘But Jen can’t get away from it because it is everywhere.

‘It doesn’t affect her current relationship or her life in a negative way. She just wants to protect her kids, and by being there for Ben, if and when he needs, allows her to do that.’

They added that Affleck is conscious of being a ‘burden’ and tries to avoid discussing his marital breakdown with his ex-wife, with whom he shares children Violet, 18, Fin (formerly Seraphina), 15, and Samuel, 12.

‘Jen is monitoring it all and she has told Ben time and time again, they can talk about anything, and she will be there for him to vent,’ the source said. ‘But Ben never wants to burden her and will instead just talk to her about the kids and what the kids need.’

 Understanding Deductibles in Insurance

What is a Deductible?

A deductible is the amount of money a policyholder must pay out-of-pocket before an insurance company begins to cover the remaining costs. Deductibles are a fundamental component of most insurance policies, including health, auto, home, and business insurance.

How Do Deductibles Work?

When you file a claim, you are responsible for paying the deductible amount. Only after this amount is paid will the insurance company pay for the covered expenses exceeding the deductible. For example, if you have a $1,000 deductible on your car insurance and incur $3,000 in damages from an accident, you would pay the first $1,000, and the insurance company would cover the remaining $2,000.

Types of Deductibles

  1. Fixed Dollar Deductible: This is a specific amount you must pay each time you file a claim. It’s common in health and auto insurance policies.
  2. Percentage Deductible: In some cases, particularly with homeowners insurance, the deductible might be a percentage of the insured value. For instance, if your home is insured for $200,000 and you have a 2% deductible, your out-of-pocket cost would be $4,000 before insurance covers the rest.
  3. Per-Claim vs. Annual Deductible:
    • Per-Claim Deductible: You pay the deductible every time you file a claim.
    • Annual Deductible: Common in health insurance, this deductible resets each year. You pay out-of-pocket until your total expenses reach the deductible amount for the year.

Why Do Deductibles Exist?

  1. Cost Control: Deductibles help keep insurance premiums more affordable. Higher deductibles typically result in lower premiums because the policyholder assumes more initial risk.
  2. Reduced Claims Frequency: Deductibles discourage policyholders from filing small or frivolous claims, reducing the number of claims an insurer must process and pay out.
  3. Shared Responsibility: Deductibles ensure that policyholders share in the financial responsibility of their care or damages, promoting cautious behavior and maintenance of insured assets.

Choosing the Right Deductible

When selecting an insurance policy, choosing the right deductible is crucial. Here are some considerations:

  1. Financial Ability: Assess your ability to pay the deductible in case of a claim. A higher deductible can lower your premium but may be challenging to pay if an incident occurs.
  2. Risk Tolerance: Determine how much risk you are comfortable assuming. If you prefer lower out-of-pocket costs during an emergency, a lower deductible might be preferable, albeit with a higher premium.
  3. Frequency of Claims: Consider how often you might need to file a claim. If you anticipate frequent claims, a lower deductible might be more cost-effective over time.

Impact on Premiums

The relationship between deductibles and premiums is inverse. Generally, the higher the deductible, the lower the premium, and vice versa. This trade-off allows policyholders to customize their insurance based on their financial situation and risk appetite.

Conclusion

Deductibles are a key feature of insurance policies that influence both the cost of premiums and the financial burden on policyholders when filing claims. Understanding how deductibles work and carefully selecting an appropriate deductible can help balance cost savings with financial protection, ensuring optimal insurance coverage tailored to individual needs and circumstances.
