Rihanna is reportedly selling a luxurious LA penthouse once owned by Matthew Perry – less than a year after purchasing the 40th floor unit.
The songstress, 36, bought the dwelling last spring from Afterpay co-founder Nick Molnar, who purchased it from the late Friends star back in 2021.
Now, Rihanna is allegedly selling it for a little less than $25 million, according to the Robb Report.
The Diamonds songstress has reportedly yet to move into the unit and has been attempting to find a buyer off-market for the last few months.
Robb Robert claims current listings of the unit feature photos of ‘clearly staged interiors.’
The unit comprises of the entire 40th floor of the The Century, a celebrity-friendly gated building featuring round-the-clock concierge services along with top-tier security.
Molnar owned the home for less than two years before selling it to Rihanna, according to Robb Report.
Perry owned the penthouse for four years and heavily customized the unit, recruiting architect Scott Joyce
And interior designer LM Pagano to complete the job, according to Robb Report.
Rihanna and Molnar do not appear to have made any meaningful modifications to Perry’s customizations, the outlet reports.
Molnar paid $21.6 million for the property in what the Los Angeles Times called ‘Southern California’s priciest condo sale since 2015.’
Perry reportedly spent nearly as much time selling the residence as he did living there, according to the LA Times. He purchased the unit for $20 million in 2017.
The condo comes with four bedrooms, eight bathrooms, and four terraces boasting spectacular views of Los Angeles, from downtown Los Angeles to the Pacific Ocean.
The building also comes with a massive pool replete with cabanas, a state-of-the-art fitness area, movie theater, private wine storage and many other amenities.
At least two of the bedrooms face endless 360-degree-view windows looking out onto the City of Angels. A hefty bar area in the kitchen can accommodate at least five people.
The apartment also contains plenty of seating area, allowing it to be the perfect hub for entertaining.
According to Robb Report, the penthouse Rihanna owns comes with monthly HOA dues of $8,814.
Rihanna is the owner of a total of two units at The Century. In addition to the one she is attempting to offload, she has a smaller condo at the building, according to the outlet.
Rihanna’s sale comes less than a year after Perry’s heartbreaking death at age 54.
The Friends star died from a ketamine overdose on October 28 2023, following a life blighted by alcohol and drug addiction.
