A perennially stylish celebrity couple, Rihanna and A$AP Rocky aren’t going to let a little rain ruin their outfits. 

In fact, as they’ve shown us, being prepared for the forecast can become part of a look in itself.

Rihanna and Rocky spent the day in Venice, hitting the Celine store and the antique jeweller Attilio Codognato before making their way to the Doge’s Palace for a nighttime tour. 

By the time the two emerged from the landmark, the rain had begun. Luckily, they came prepared.

Rihanna, who shielded herself with a large black umbrella, wore a navy-blue top held together by safety pins 

With light wash, baggy jeans that covered the heels of her crystal-studded black Alaïa flats – currently the fashion set’s favourite flat. 

The singer and entrepreneur accessorised with silver jewellery: a chain and dangling earrings. 

And to keep warm in the Italian winter, she wore a floor-length black coat.

Rocky, on the other hand, decided to forgo the umbrella altogether. 

His preferred method of rain protection came in the form of a sweeping grey hooded cloak, which, given the Gothic setting, seemed sartorially appropriate. 

Underneath his cape, he wore a sharp brown pinstriped suit, a white button-up left partially undone, and a pair of black leather Oxfords.
