That’s because their trip has cost the people of Colombia millions of dollars in security expenses. And it’s not like the South American country can afford the trip for Harry and Meghan, either.

And while the Duke and Duchess of Sussex know that there are going to be a lot of people who are going to point their fingers at them, they don’t want to stop doing these kinds of quasi-royal tours.

That’s because they’ve just received a new warning that Donald Trump might consider kicking Prince Harry back to England because of the fact that he lied on his visa application about his past drug use.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are taking the threat so seriously, that they are really considering moving back to the UK just in case Trump does become the next president of the United States and makes due on his promise, too.

It was Donald’s son Eric Trump who hinted in an interview with GB News that his father will do what he has to do to get rid of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle.

He said, “What I can tell you is, my father had so much respect for the [late] Queen, as did I. My mum knew so many of them for years and had a great relationship with Diana.”

That’s because both of their tours to Nigeria and Colombia have been quite successful, which Meghan especially surely wants to bank on. It’s also the reason why Meghan wants to keep traveling.

One source close to the situation even put it this way, “Both Meghan and Harry are keen to do more of these tours as that’s what they love doing and what they enjoyed most about royal life.”

“But they’ve been left embarrassed by this latest backlash, especially as they faced similar comments when they went to Nigeria.”

“They want to help raise awareness to the issues some of these countries face and they know their profile can highlight that.”

The insider also said, “Meghan and Harry also know that these trips help elevate their status in Hollywood and in turn help their brand.”

“They don’t want to stop doing them but are unsure of what to do next to win everyone over again.”

“You can happily have those two [Meghan and Harry], we might not want them anymore, it feels like they’re on an island of their own.”
