Lisa Armstrong took to social media to share a cryptic post about ‘healing’ after saying her ‘side of the story’ didn’t matter.
The Strictly Come Dancing make-up artist, 47, who used to be married to presenter Ant McPartlin, shared a quote on her Instagram Stories.
The quote read: “My side of the story doesn’t matter anymore.
Life happened, it hurt, I healed, but most importantly I learned who deserves a seat at my table and who will never sit at it again.”
Lisa, who has amassed a large following online, has become renowned for her blunt and often inspirational quote posts.
At the end of last month, Lisa appeared to be in a no-nonsense mood when she took to her Instagram page to share a barbed post about ‘d*ckheads.’
The make-up artist shared at the time: “I saw a post that said: ‘If you want a happy and healthy life, you need to avoid d***heads not carbohydrates.’ I think we’d all benefit from hearing this today.” She followed it with another barbed message that read: “You just have to let people be… be who they are, do what they do, act how they act, say what they say. Let them live their version of reality. Let them sit with their lies and delusion while you sit with the truth in peace.”
She had a difficult year after splitting from her electrician boyfriend after three years together. Their split was said to have come like a ‘bolt out of the blue’ with friends gushing about how loved-up they were. A source told Daily Mail at the time that there was ‘no inkling that anything was wrong’.
“I don’t really know what has gone wrong. The two of them were only on a swanky holiday together in the Caribbean or somewhere about eight weeks ago. He was with her one day, and he just wasn’t with her the next day. There was no inkling that anything was wrong,” the insider said.
Lisa and father-of-two James first started dating in 2020 when he was estranged from his wife after moving out of their shared home. Before dating the electrician, she was married to Ant – who is now married to Anne-Marie, the former PA of the Saturday Night Takeaway star.
Ant and Anne-Marie recently welcomed their first child together, with the star sharing the happy news on social media with fans. He wrote: “Welcome to the family. Wilder Patrick Mcpartlin. Born, 14/05/24 at 8.54am. Baby is beautiful, Mummy’s a legend, Sisters are over the moon. Dad’s a mess.”
