Kym Marsh packed on the PDA when she reunited with her new boyfriend as they prepare to get back on stage together.
The Hear’Say star, 48, recently gushed she’d met her “soulmate” in Samuel Thomas, 29, who she starred with in 101 Dalmatians: The Musical.
Her new romance comes around a year after the breakdown of her third marriage.
Kym and Samuel made the relationship Instagram official earlier this month as they “couldn’t contain their excitement”.
However, Kym had told a friend it has been “stressful” seeing the negativity from people on social media.
A source close to Kym told The Mirror : “Kym is so happy with Sam and they couldn’t contain their excitement.
So it felt natural to put pics on social media and tell the world about the relationship. But the reaction from some people has been harsh and shocking to them.
“Kym has been saying it is stressful and she doesn’t want to put any pressure on their romance which is still in the relatively early stages of the first few months. It has been a hard week because she is not working on the musical this week and is away filmingWaterloo Roadso they have been apart which has made things harder.”
Sam is still working on 101 Dalmatians: The Musical as he recently starred alongside Faye Tozer in the role of Cruella de Vil. Kym showed her support to her new beau as she headed to Manchester to be by his side. She will be back on stage alongside Sam and the rest of the cast when 101 Dalmatians The Musical moves to the city on July 30 and then on to Belfast, Wolverhampton and other venues until November.
The couple were seen at Manchester train station on Sunday afternoon as they shared a kiss. Samuel made sure to carry most of the luggage as he wheeled a grey suitcase and carried a large shopping bag. Kym kept cool in the heat by wearing a floral mini dress paired with white Converse trainers. She offered help to her new beau as she carried a black bag. The new couple beamed as they were back in each other’s company once more.
Announcing her new romance, Kym posted a sweet photo of the pair kissing as she wrote: “Met the most amazing man ever! Sometimes the most unexpected things happen at the most unexpected times. @samuelthomasuk I love you #beautiful #soulmate #loveyou.” This week, Kym underwent a makeover as she spent six hours at a hairdressers while preparing to get back on stage.
The mum-of-three emerged with a glossy new do in which chestnut flecks could be seen glimmering in her usually raven hair. Kym smiled at the cameras as she ran her fingers through her locks, sporting a khaki jacket and black leather trousers.
Samuel has also expressed his affection for Kym over the past month as he gushed: “I didn’t expect you, but here you are. I love you.” Returning the sentiment, Kym responded: “Ditto. The best things happen unexpectedly. Love you too.” However, many of Kym’s fans have called her out for ‘jumping into another romance’ and some compared Kym to serial dater, Katie Price.
Hitting back at their critics, Sam wrote note on his Story as he shared: “Opinions are like a**eholes… everyone’s got one, but they’re still a**eholes.” Shortly after it was shared, he deleted the post. Other fans have showed their support to Kym amid her new romance as they pointed out she has had a tough year following the death of her beloved father, David and the breakdown of her marriage to Scott Ratcliffe.
Kym has even got a huge new tattoo, paying tribute to the musical where she first met Samuel. Revealing a portrait of Cruella De Vil on her ribs, the actress gushed: “Thank you @jesswright_tattoo for my awesome Cruella tattoo. Needed something to cover up an old one and this is just perfect! A great reminder of playing this Iconic villain! Although….. if you’re gonna have a tattoo gang….. ribs are SORE!!! Sorry Jess for the occasional swear word hahah. You’re an absolute genius!”
