Looks like the Chris Brown love triangle is well and truly alive again
As according to the latest reports his romance with Karrueche Tran ended after ex Rihanna paid him a visit in rehab during January.
The couple are believed to have split recently, with Tran posting on Twitter that she was definitely single.
According to Confidentia@l at the New York Daily News, the reason behind the latest split was a secret meeting between the former lovers.
They claim Rihanna flew in a private plane to the Malibu treatment facility where Brown spent the last three months.
The insiders claimed the hush hush meeting only lasted a few hours, with even staff at the centre unaware of the A list guest.
According to the report though, Tran found out and decided she’d have enough, dumping the singer. “With Chris in rehab, [he] and Karrueche spoke every day and she stood by his side.
She took a vacation to Turks and Caicos and told friends the entire time that they were really good and happy together,” the source told the paper.
“She trusts Chris, but when it comes to Rihanna, she has a zero-tolerance policy. Then she found out about the trip.”
Claiming at first he denied the visit the insider went on: “She believed him, but he finally admitted that Rihanna had come to see him.
She put her foot down and cut him off completely,” Tran is said to be eager to make a clean break from Brown after years of drama and is reportedly making a permenant move to NYC.
“She just looked at an apartment in Tribeca to buy,” the source added. “She isn’t taking any of Chris’ calls and he keeps calling her.”
It’s not the first time rumours about Chris and Rihanna getting back in touch have started.
Last month it was claimed the couple had been chatting after he reached out to her for her birthday.
But any chance of a reunion will have to wait as from the looks of it, RiRi is seeing Drake.
