The Chase star Jenny Ryan dazzled as she headed to a star-studded awards ceremony in a shimmery rainbow dress as she looked totally different from The Vixen
Jenny Ryan looked totally different from her alter-ego The Vixen as she headed on a glitzy night out.
The quiz star, 42, stunned in a rainbow sequinned dress for an awards ceremony in London.
She was able to relax away from her challenging role on The Chase at the Silver Clef Awards. Jenny appeared along with other stars at The Grosvenor House Hotel on Friday night.
She appeared a far cry from her serious quizzing persona as she stepped out at the awards in a shimmery wrap dress featuring animal print.
Jenny added sheer black tights and a pair of chunky lace-up boots to her look. The TV star wore a pair of lilac glasses and had her signature red locks down.
Jenny beamed at the camera as she posed for pictures and was joined on the red carpet by artist Thomas Wolski. The pair gave peace signs as they joked together. Nordoff and Robbins O2 Silver Clef Awards is an annual music awards that has been running since 1976. Huge names scooped up accolades at the ceremony including Blur, who took home the O2 Silver Clef Award.
AC/DC were handed the Legend Award, while Chaka Khan was given the Global Impact Award. Jessie Ware was awarded Best Female, Loyle Carner was given Best Male and The 1975 were awarded Best Group.
The Chase star Jenny recently opened up on her shocking brush with ‘fat shaming’ during a phone consultation with her GP. She sarcastically tweeted: “Isn’t modern life great?” Jenny added: “Your GP can now fat-shame you over the phone, so you don’t have to waste time travelling and sitting in a waiting room before being made to feel awful about your own existence!”
She continued to recall the conversation with her doctor, who asked her if she knew her current weight. The doctor replied: “Oh… That’s ‘significantly’ lower than last time, well done. Not good enough though, is it?” Around that time, one troll made a vile jab at Jenny calling her a “fat b***h”.
An individual from her team shot back: “Hi, thanks for getting in touch. Messages to this page are monitored by Jenny’s admin team. We can pass on messages or answer questions. Thank you for your message. You seem like a decent chap which obviously gives you the right to body shame and demean women. Your loved ones must be really proud of you!”
Two years after the incident, Jenny showcased her weight loss transformation. The quiz maestro took to Instagram to post a stunning snap of herself in a stylish green dress. Spotted at the press night of Sunset Boulevard at The Savoy Theatre, London, Jenny looked every inch the star in her satin green wrap dress, paired with a striking necklace and her trademark black-rimmed glasses.
