It’s really too bad that we’ve gotten so used to Stephen Curry because the guy’s talent is just immense, and so much of his skill is either mental or a ruthless imposition of his will.
He doesn’t have physical talent like a LeBron James or a Zion Williamson but he is smart enough to have his way with anyone in the game.
They say that good luck is the residue of hard work and that’s hard to argue with.
Take this play from Wednesday night’s game vs. Portland.
Curry gets the ball in the lane on a pass from Draymond Green and has gotten past 6-11 Enes Kanter – but Kanter is in hot pursuit.
It’s impressive that he got the shot off at all but that he had the touch to send it up at such a high angle that it bounced off the top of the backboard before falling in?
It’ll be awhile before you see that again.
Curry’s now 32 and his career won’t last forever. We won’t see the likes of him again either
