David Beckham, the former professional soccer player, took to Instagram on June 26 to celebrate his mother Sandra’s 75th birthday. 

The 49-year-old shared a series of heartwarming photos, capturing the special bond he shares with his mom.

One of the standout images was a selfie of David and Sandra sitting at a kitchen table, ready to enjoy a meal together. 

The duo appeared to be savoring a classic U.K. dish of ham with a pineapple slice, potatoes, and peas. 

“Happy birthday mum,” David captioned the photo, adding a birthday emoji to mark the occasion.

In another touching post, David shared a throwback photo of his mom, writing, “We love you mum,” accompanied by a red heart emoji. 

The nostalgic image showed Sandra with David and his siblings, Joanne and Lynne, during their childhood. David’s caption read, “Happy Birthday Mum love you so much x The sun is shining and you deserve to have the best day❤️ we love u so much ❤️ Lots of love your favorite child 😂 @lynnebeckhambriggs1972 @jo_jo_beckham_ ❤️❤️.”

In December 2023, David documented a lunch with his mom, sharing a photo of Sandra beaming in the background as they prepared to eat ham, egg, and potatoes.
