Cardi B’s sister Hennessy Carolina appeared to let slip the sex of the rapper’s baby on Sunday.
Hennessy shared a gushing post about her 25-year-old sibling, who confirmed she’s expecting a baby with fiance Offset on SNL on Saturday, hinting that she’s expecting a baby girl.
As part of her long message to the Bodak Yellow hitmaker the 22-year-old originally wrote ‘give her all the kisses and hugs’ which she later changed to ‘give the baby all the kisses and hugs,’.
Hennessy’s message began: ‘A baby is truly a blessing from god I know how much you always wanted to be a mom!
You always been Like a second mom to me so I know u gonna be the best mommy everrrr. you took care of me like i was ur own daughter I know how much you LOVE babies.’
‘Growing up, you would always break me off a piece of your plate without me asking… to our little brother you give him whatever he imagines ….
Every time I use to see your adorable baby pictures , I use to wish I was older than you just so I wouldve gotten the chance to carry you and give you kisses when you were a baby because you were so cute and adorable!
She continued: ‘and NOW that ur baby is coming its like it’s coming true! I’m going to be able to hold ur baby and give the baby all the kisses and hugs! your pregnancy is mines we pregnant can’t believe we’re having a baby! hehehehe and to my brother @offsetyrn @iamcardib Auntie hennny aowwww.’
Cardi confirmed her pregnancy on Saturday Night Live over the weekend and she took the time to thank supporters, specifically musicians Rihanna and 50 Cent, on Instagram the following day.
‘The love I’m receiving is overwhelming! I can’t thank you enough for always finding the time to share your support!! Thank you a million times,’ she wrote.
Offset also tweeted his joy after the announcement.
Sharing a picture of the pair of them together, he wrote in capital letters: ‘Cardi and I look forward to our next chapter together.’
Meanwhile, Cardi B released her debut album Invasion Of Privacy, featuring appearances from Migos, 21 Savage, Chance The Rapper and more.
Along with her successful rapping career, Cardi is branching out into design.
The former reality star is designing a ‘crazy’ clothing line with FashionNova to help fans look fashionable on a budget.
Speaking to Apple Music Beats 1, she said: ‘They gave me the opportunity to design what I like and what I want to put out, and I’m gonna put out a line with them, a little something-something… It’s gonna be crazy because it’s what I like. I know that a lot of people cannot afford expensive s***, nobody got no $500 or $400 for a damn shirt and sweatsuit.’
