Cameron Diaz was spotted on a rare public outing with her young children as she joined Chris Pratt and his pregnant wife Katherine Schwarzenegger on July 4.  

The two families celebrated Independence Day together with a sweet playdate as they met up in Montecito, California, on Thursday evening.

The actress, 51, looked stylish with a white fedora hat that she wore along with a loose, long-sleeved olive green top and matching trousers.

Cameron accessorized with sunglasses and had her blonde hair gathered in braids while out with her husband Benji Madden, 45, and family to watch the parade.

The Charlie’s Angels star and Good Charlotte lead singer Benji have daughter Raddix, four, and announced the birth of their son Cardinal in March on social media.

Benji kept it simple in an all-black outfit including hoodie and matching cap.

Cameron was on stroller duty and so was Chris, 45, who has three-year-old daughter Lyla and two-year-old daughter Eloise Christina with pregnant wife Katherine, 34.

Chris wore a plain white T-shirt, black pants and black shoes for the holiday outing.

The Marvel Studios star accessorized with a watch and sunglasses and also sported a beard.

Katherine covered up with a large black bucket hat that she wore along with a white T-shirt, loosed faded jeans and white sneakers.

The daughter of Arnold Schwarzenegger and Maria Shriver also accessorized with a watch and black sunglasses.

Cameron revealed Cardinal’s birth in March on Instagram after having kept her pregnancy private.

In the post, she gushed that the newborn is ‘really cute’ but explained to her 12m followers that she would not be posting photos for his ‘safety and privacy.’ She did not reveal Cardinal’s date of birth or how he was conceived.

Cameron and Benji first crossed paths in 2014 and became engaged later that same year in December. The lovebirds tied the knot in January 2015 during an intimate, yet romantic ceremony that took place at their Beverly Hills home.

In December 2019, the pair previously surprised fans when they announced they welcomed daughter, Raddix. At the time, Cameron had also taken to Instagram to share the news to her followers by penning a message around New Year’s.

‘Happy New Year from the Maddens! We are so happy, blessed and grateful to begin this new decade by announcing the birth of our daughter, Raddix Madden.’

The actress continued, ‘She has instantly captured our hearts and completed our family. While we are overjoyed to share this news, we also feel a strong instinct to protect our little one’s privacy.’

‘So we won’t be posting any pictures or sharing any more details, over than the fact that she is really really cute!! Some would even say RAD:)…’

During an interview on The Tonight Show With Jimmy Fallon back in 2020, The Mask star opened up about how both she and Benji have fully embraced parenthood, adding that it’s ‘the best thing that ever happened’ to them.

She said: “It’s been heaven. Literally every single day, there are just leaps and bounds…and she’s not the same baby that she was yesterday.’

Cameron initially retired from acting following her role in the 2014 film, Annie, but has since returned to star in Netflix’s upcoming action comedy movie Back In Action alongside Jamie Foxx.

Back In Action is scheduled to be released in November on the streaming service. 

She also was spotted in May in Los Angeles filming the dark comedy Outcome with Keanu Reeves and Matt Bomer.
