Romeo, Romeo, wherefore art thou? Well, it looks like David Beckham’s son is in Bray, Co Wicklow, of all places!
The 21-year-old, who plays for Brentford football club, made his way over to this side of the water to take on Bray Wanders at their home pitch, Carlisle Grounds, on Tuesday.
Crowds flocked to the stadium to catch a glimpse of the star, often shouting out his name as soon as the ball was passed to him with one publication highlighting how it was like a scene from Shakespeare.
Former Xpose executive producer Debbie O’ Donnell posted a picture of the star as he signed autographs for young football fans and jumped into selfies with other people who came over to say hi to him.
Romeo wasn’t the only one to catch people’s eye as many also turned out to see ex-Bray footballer Conor McManus who made the move to the English football team in 2023.
The presence of David’s son may have slightly numbed the homeside’s pain as they ended up losing 3-0 to the English club.
It’s not the first time that the Beckhams have visited Ireland. Just over a year ago, David brought his other son Cruz to the capital.
Celebrating his 18th, the two men hit Temple Bar with many people having to look twice as the legendary footballer made his way into their local.
We wonder if Romeo will take some time off and do the same?
