Angelina Jolie’s son Knox is becoming a pilot at just 15. Really?

Angelina Jolie admitted in a new documentary that she is teaching her nine-year-old son Knox how to fly a plane.

The 42-year-old actress got her pilot’s license back in 2004, after being inspired to train while watching planes taking off and landing at an airfield where she and son Maddox used to get lunch.

Now she is sharing the gift of flight with her youngest son.

‘I love being up in the air,’ she said of her time soaring through the sky.

‘I love the freedom. Knox is now learning to fly. It makes me crazy happy to see him discover it. He still needs help with the pedals, but won’t for long.’

Angelina recently appeared in the ITV special The Queen’s Green Planet, where she was captured jetting over the Namibian desert in the pilot’s chair of a small plane.

In the recent documentary, however, Angelina is given the opportunity to gush over one of her other great loves: Namibia.

‘It’s beautiful … I think it’s one of the most beautiful places in the world,’ Angelina says of the country before she makes her landing in the documentary.

The country is near and dear to Angelina’s heart as it is where her daughter Shiloh was born in 2006, as well as the home of the N/a’an ku sê Foundation, which Angelina has frequently worked with in conservation efforts.

Jolie appeared alongside Queen Elizabeth and Sir David Attenborough in the documentary, which focuses on the actress’ forest conservation efforts in the southwest African nation.

The film highlights the Queen’s Commonwealth Canopy project, which aims to create and protect areas of indigenous forest across all 53 Commonwealth nations.

According to People, ‘The Namibian government asked Jolie to help develope the country’s contribution to the Queen’s project in 2016 due to her previous work as a conservationist.’

‘I wanted to help communities,’ the mother of six told the outlet.

Adding, ‘Building schools and clinics means little if meanwhile the environment the community relies on is destroyed.’

Angelina Jolie’s passion for flying is truly inspiring. In addition to teaching her son Knox how to fly, she recently showcased her piloting skills by jetting over the stunning Namibian desert. Her love for the African nation is evident, as it holds a special place in her heart – it is where her daughter Shiloh was born and where she has been actively involved in conservation efforts with the N/a’an ku sê Foundation. In the recent documentary, Angelina expresses her admiration for Namibia, calling it one of the most beautiful places in the world. Her involvement in the Queen’s Commonwealth Canopy project further demonstrates her commitment to preserving the environment and supporting local communities. Angelina’s dedication to conservation goes beyond just words – she is actively involved in projects that aim to protect indigenous forests and wildlife habitats. Her work with the Namibian government highlights her passion for making a positive impact on both the environment and the lives of those in need. It is truly commendable to see a celebrity using their platform for such noble causes. Angelina’s focus on creating a sustainable future for generations to come sets a great example for others to follow.
