Angelina Jolie is beginning the PR tour for Maleficent 2, and she wrote an essay for Elle magazine about maleficent women. 

She also poses with her two rescue dogs, a pitbull mix and a rottweiler that her oldest sons picked as puppies.

An excerpt from her essay:”Women could be accused of witchcraft for having an independent sex life, for speaking their mind on politics or religion, or for dressing differently.

Had I lived in earlier times, I could have been burnt at the stake many times over for simply being myself.

The accusation of witchcraft has been used to control and silence women in almost all societies and in every century.

she was seen with 11-year-old daughter Vivienne taking the family’s two pet dogs to the groomer. 

The two appeared to have their hands full controlling the energetic pooches, holding on tight to their leather leashes.

Jolie wore the same overcoat she was seen in on Monday and stepped out in a pair of nude flats. She had on a cream top and black trousers as well as her sunglasses.

Vivienne, who has a twin brother Knox, had on a gray t-shirt and patterned sports shorts along with slip-on canvas shoes. Mother and daughter smiled and laughed as they were pulled along by their pets.

Jolie and Pitt share custody of their children having worked out an agreement following their bitter split in September 2016.

In addition to Pax, Vivienne and Knox, they share Maddox, 18, who was born in Cambodia, Zahara, 14, who was born in Ethiopia, and Shiloh, 13, who was born in Namibia.
