The famous mother supports her children’s studies and creates opportunities for them to participate in art projects.
At the latest event, the Hollywood star and her youngest daughter Vivienne happily took photos on the red carpet of the Broadway musical The Outsiders.

Not only is she a solid fulcrum for her children to study, the Maleficent star strives to support her children in developing their own strengths. Vivienne, Maddox, Pax Thien and Zahara respectively collaborated with their mother on filmmaking projects, musicals and social activities.
The 48-year-old star said that her youngest daughter inspired her to become a co-producer of the musical The Outsiders. Vivienne had previously come to see the rehearsal and encouraged her mother to participate. In her role as a volunteer assistant, her 15-year-old daughter learned a lot from the creative team. “Viv reminds me of my mother in that she’s not focused on being the center of attention but being a supporter of other creatives,” Jolie told People.
Not only does Jolie show strong support for Vivienne’s passion, she is also always open to receiving support from other children such as Maddox, Pax Thien and Zahara.
In the Atelier Jolie fashion project launched in September 2023, Jolie told Vogue magazine, USA that her two children are the main collaborators. Zahara helped find space for the retail store while Pax Thien researched how to design the space. A son of Vietnamese origin and a daughter from Ethiopia and their mother participated in a photo shoot for a fashion magazine to promote the brand. Pax Thien also took behind-the-scenes photos and made videos for this shoot.
Maddox was the first child Jolie adopted when she was only 26 years old. The Hollywood star has shared many times that becoming a mother has completely changed her life. Since becoming Maddox’s adoptive mother, Jolie has changed her life to become more suited to motherhood and sees life differently. She continued to adopt Pax Thien and Zahara and had 3 biological children including 17-year-old Shiloh and 15-year-old twins Knox and Vivienne. Maddox was interested in his mother’s humanitarian work and filmmaking from a very early age.
Their parents are the most famous actors in Hollywood, but none of Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt’s children want to become actors. In an interview in 2016, the actress said that her children like to participate in the process of creating cinematic works.
In fact, both Maddox and Pax Thien accompany their mother in many different roles. When he was just 15 years old, Maddox worked as an executive producer for the movie First They Killed My Father while Pax Thien supported his mother and brother as a studio photographer. The two brothers also worked as assistant directors on the set of the movie Without Blood. Both of these films were directed by Jolie.
