Ben Affleck, who spent the Fourth of July without his wife Jennifer Lopez, was spotted wearing his wedding ring amid divorce rumours

Ben Affleck looked glum as he stepped out for lunch in Los Angeles on Friday afternoon after spending US Independence Day without his wife Jennifer Lopez.

The Good Will Hunting actor, 51, and JLo, 54, have been hitting headlines in recent weeks as rumours swirled about the couple getting divorced. 

Jennifer and Ben reeled in Independence Day wearing matching all-white outfits at the Hamptons last year but it seemed the couple have kept their distance as they spent the holidays without each other.

And now, one day after the celebrations, Ben seemed downcast as he was spotted stepping out for lunch while wearing his wedding band.

 He kept things simple in a white t-shirt, a plaid button-up shirt, jeans and trainers. Meanwhile, JLo was relaxing in the Hamptons.

He stopped to chat to someone before continuing on his way. Meanwhile, JLo shared a slew of pictures on her social media on the Fourth of July wearing a designed button-up top with brown pants that matched her hat, sandals and her wedding ring. Jennifer was all smiles as she posed around colourful flowers.

She captioned the post: “Happy Fourth,” and added a rose, a white heart and an American flag emoji. The day before the holiday, Ben was seen with his daughter at Sawtelle Blvd in Los Angeles as they headed out to get dinner together at the Japanese restaurant called Kaz.

Violet covered her face with a mask and she was pictured with her arms wrapped around her famous dad as they chatted away. For many months, rumours have been swirling that Ben and Jennifer’s relationship has been struggling and that the duo are headed for divorce, with their split being described as “all but certain with little chance of reconciliation.”

After only two years of marriage, Ben packed up his things from their combined $60 million California property. The couple has been seen spending some time apart, even though they haven’t acknowledged or refuted the reports. The two have been spotted together a couple of times. Jennifer and Ben attended his daughter’s high school graduation party at Jennifer Gardeners, his ex-wife, home.

There has yet to be a confirmation about their reported split, but Jennifer did cancel her summer tour, with her representatives claiming that the singer wanted ‘time off to be with her children, family and close friends.” Both Jennifer and Ben have been seen hanging out with their kids more’.
