Meghan Markle feels hurt as King Charles consistently favors Prince William’s family and pressures hers (video)

Meghan Markle is still reportedly picking up the pieces as the rift between the Sussex camp and the royal family rages on.

Four years after the Duke and Duchess of Sussex quit royal life, Markle still “genuinely feels hurt” over the feud, according to a report.

“Harry is more willing to move on, let’s just say that,” a source told the Express, adding that the “Suits” alum, 42, would still like to talk things through with the Windsor clan.

“The insider added that Meghan isn’t being difficult; she genuinely feels hurt and would like to have a sit-down to discuss things. However, the other side is not currently willing to consider this.”

Despite Markle’s rumored desire to reconnect with the Firm, it seems as though hopes of a reconciliation seem far-fetched at this time.

According to former royal butler Grant Harrold, who worked for King Charles, “too much damage” has been done for things to go back to how they were.

“[Harry] caused damage and broke down trust,” Harrold exclusively told The Post this week. “It’s difficult when you’re a future monarch.”

“I doubt they’ll ever get back the relationship they had originally. That was a very different relationship built on trust. It’s going to take time. William is a tough character. He’s a good guy.”

According to Harrold, the only way the Sussexes can get let back into the royal fold is if Harry releases a public apology for all the hurt that was caused by his protocol-shattering memoir, “Spare.”

Soon after moving to Montecito, Calif., the duo signed up for a series of tell-all projects, each of which revealed bombshell details about the ongoing rift between the two camps.

After sitting down for an interview with Oprah Winfrey, the Sussexes went on to release their six-part Netflix documentary.

Unsurprisingly, the lucrative projects have done them no favors in repairing their relationship with the royals.

On the other hand, the pair have established their own brand and public image in the US — one that has earned them a myriad of awards in recent years.

Most recently, Invictus Games founder Harry was named as the recipient of the Pat Tillman Award for Service at the 2024 ESPYs.

The honor has had its fair share of critics, however, including Tillman’s mother, Mary Tillman.

“I am shocked as to why they would select such a controversial and divisive individual to receive the award,” Mary told the Daily Mail. “There are recipients that are far more fitting. There are individuals working in the veteran community that are doing tremendous things to assist veterans.”

The Pat Tillman Award is often given to unsung heroes, with the Buffalo Bills training staff who revived Damar Hamlin, who suffered a cardiac arrest in the middle of a game, earning the recognition last year.

Even ESPN analyst Pat McAfee accused his own network of “trying to piss people off” for picking Prince Harry.

Meghan Markle is still reportedly picking up the pieces as the rift between the Sussex camp and the royal family continues to make headlines.

Four years after the Duke and Duchess of Sussex made the decision to step back from royal life, Markle is said to still “genuinely feel hurt” over the ongoing feud, according to recent reports.

A source shared with the Express that while Prince Harry seems more willing to move on from the situation, Markle, at 42 years old, is still open to sitting down and discussing things with the Windsor clan.

Despite her willingness to reconcile, it appears that the other side is not currently open to such discussions, leaving hopes of a reunion uncertain.

Former royal butler Grant Harrold, who previously worked for King Charles, mentioned that “too much damage” has been done to easily mend the relationship between the Sussexes and the royal family.

Harrold explained, “Harry caused damage and broke down trust. It’s difficult when you’re a future monarch. I doubt they’ll ever get back the relationship they had originally.”

For a potential return to the royal fold, Harrold suggested that Harry may need to offer a public apology for the hurt caused by his revealing memoir, “Spare.”

Since relocating to Montecito, California, Meghan and Harry have engaged in several high-profile projects that have further strained their ties with the royal family.

Although these projects have not aided in a reconciliation, the couple has successfully built their own brand and public image in the US, receiving accolades and awards for their work.

Most recently, Harry was honored with the Pat Tillman Award for Service at the 2024 ESPYs, a recognition that has sparked mixed reactions, including criticism from Mary Tillman, the mother of the award’s namesake.

Despite the controversy surrounding the award, it remains a significant acknowledgment, typically bestowed upon unsung heroes and individuals who have made impactful contributions.

The recognition of Harry’s service comes at a time when the couple continues to navigate their new roles and responsibilities outside of the traditional royal structure.
