Between their family life and busy schedules, the couple work hard to maintain their connection.
Throughout their romance, the pair have supported each other’s dreams and shared their love for each other whenever possible.
“My baby, my love, my life. What can I say.
This is us 8 years married in, loving each other for 11 and we somehow still find reasons and things that we love about each other every day. … I love you for ever [sic] and always constantly giving the ultimate glory to God,” Ayesha wrote via Instagram in July 2019.
During a May 2019 episode of Red Table Talk, Ayesha confessed that she often felt intimidated by female attention her husband receives. “Like, I’m OK with it now. Obviously, you know, the devil is a liar and there’s always, like … the ladies will always be lurking, hoping for their moment and waiting, you need to be aware of that,” she shared. “But for me .. I honestly hate that.”
Following the episode, Stephen stood up for his wife after she received backlash for her comments online.
“Proud of you for being authentic and putting yourself out there — not being afraid of potential bull s#*# and nonsense that could and did come at you,” he captioned an Instagram Story post at the time. “Way more positive than negative with all of this. Keep being you. I love you.”
