Christine McGuinness revealed she is dating someone new on Tuesday, following her split from ex-husband Paddy McGuinness.
The model, 36, and the presenter, 50, got married in June 2011 and went on to welcome twins Leo and Penelope, 10, and seven-year-old Felicity, before splitting in 2022.
Last month, it was reported the pair – who have maintained a strong relationship and still live together with their children – settled their divorce amicably, avoiding a lengthy court battle.
And during an appearance on Loose Women on Tuesday, Christine happily announced that she had begun a new romance, but kept tight-lipped on the details, while revealing her ‘number one rule’.
She declared: ‘I am dating! With terms and conditions. But the number one rule – I’m not doing the cooking.’
Christine was diagnosed with autism in 2021 and struggles with sensory issues surrounding food, but explained she had spoken to her new partner about her preferences ahead of their date.
She said: ‘I am dating, it’s all brand new, but we spoke a lot before our first date and I explained I don’t want to go to a restaurant or eat out.’
Breaking into excited giggles, she concluded: ‘It’s new, it’s exciting, it’s nice – that’s all I want to say!’
And she proudly declared that she was enjoying pushing herself out of her comfort zone with dating and going on Celebrity MasterChef, saying: ‘I want my kids to see me going to work, being happy, trying new things. And I want it for me too.’
It comes just a month after Christine insisted she was ‘happily single’, but that she was hopeful she would find love once again.
Speaking to MailOnline last month, she confessed she believed being in a relationship was an ‘amazing, magical thing to have in your life’, but was adamant she is in no rush to get married a second time.
However, she added that she worried she was too busy with her three children and career to sustain a new romance.
Christine said: ‘Right now I’m really really happy, I’ve never dated anyone who I haven’t had a relationship with, even my teenage years, who I wasn’t friends with first, and then it kind of developed into a relationship.
‘That was even the situation with my ex-husband, we knew each other for a while before it developed into a relationship.
‘But this is the first time I’ve been completely on my own, and I’ve got time for myself, and that time’s really limited.
‘I don’t know if I could really offer enough to somebody to be in a relationship right now, it’s not that I don’t want to.’
She continued: ‘I know that I deserve love, and I love love, and think being around someone intimately, and laughing and enjoying adult company is an amazing, magical thing to have in your life if you’ve got it.’
She added: ‘I think love is a blessing and you should count that blessing, but I don’t feel I could give enough to somebody for that to be a relationship, because I’m at home with my three children most of the time, and if I’m not at home – I’m at work, or a charity event.’
Despite her willingness to find love, the reality star ruled out tying the knot again, explaining she’s already had a wedding and marriage.
She said: ‘I think [getting married again] is something I would definitely rule out. I’ve done that, I had the big white wedding, and I was married for 15 years.
‘It’s not something I’m in any rush to do. I only want to get married once, and I’ve done that. If I get love again in my life, I’ll be really happy with that – I don’t need anything more.’
Christine also shared insight into her unlikely living arrangements with ex Paddy, explaining that while they are still living together, it’s a dynamic that works well for their kids, but admitted she wasn’t sure how long it could last.
She said: ‘I’m so happy we’ve done that, I don’t know how long it’ll last for. Whilst it’s working I don’t want to change it, I don’t want to move my children to separate houses, I don’t want to have to be dropping them off at Daddy’s for a couple of days and then back at mummy’s and I don’t want to mess their routine.
‘How we are now, we’re sort of in and out, so Patrick is so busy, he’s filming three different TV shows at once and he’s going on tour this year, so he’s incredibly busy.
‘He’s at home a couple of days a month and it works for us the kids are always excited when Daddy’s coming back, and when Daddy’s coming back Mummy can go out!’
Her confirmation she’s dating comes after she sparked rumours of a new romance with a cosy footsie snap on holiday.
Last week, it was revealed that Christine has been enjoying a holiday’ with ‘tomboy’ musician Roxxxan, after they were pictured sharing an embrace before jetting home from Ibiza.
An onlooker told The Sun: ‘The pair looked very comfortable in other’s company and sad to be going home. They shared an embrace and hugged while queuing up to check their luggage in.’
Christine also shared a snap of her playing footsie with a mystery tattooed person, before Roxxxan the posted a mirror selfie to her own Instagram revealing her legs with the same inkings.
Adding fuel to the fire, Christine also shared a stunning bikini snap in the exact same mirror.
The pair both follow each other on their Instagram accounts and have been documenting their holiday on social media, but the current nature of their relationship is unknown.
Christine was previously linked to singer Chelcee Grimes after they were pictured sharing a kiss last year.
However, they have since unfollowed each other on social media with Chelcee’s recent comments hinting at a feud.
The model recently told The Mirror: ‘I love being an LGBTQI ally. Nobody judges anybody. The LGBTQI community are conformable within themselves. There’s no jealousy. I wish the whole world was a little bit more like that.’
