Stephen Curry and his wife Ayesha made a stunning debut at the Met Gala in New York City on Monday night.

The couple donned outfits created by Jason Bolden that featured complementary colors, perfectly fitting with this year’s theme of “In America: A Lexicon of Fashion”.

Ayesha looked ravishing in a shoulderless grey gown by Atelier Versace that was adorned with gold and diamond embellishments and paired with silver heels.

Ayesha’s hair was styled in a sleek ponytail, and she accessorized with hoop earrings and a gold choker.

Stephen wore a dark navy blue suit with patterned decorations on the top and back of the jacket, paired with black dress shoes. Earlier in the day, Ayesha shared photos of their trip to the city on Instagram, captioning the post “Mom and Dad hit the NYC streets.” The couple, who have three children together, including daughters Riley and Ryan and son Canon, were part of a group of athletes in attendance at the upscale event.

As they arrived at the event with the theme “In America: A Lexicon of Fashion,” the pair exuded an air of elegance and sophistication.

After being cancelled in 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the yearly event has made a comeback. However, this year it was rescheduled for September instead of its typical May slot. This is because May is usually a busy period for Curry, who is often occupied with NBA postseason activities.

A number of prominent athletes and celebrities graced the annual event, which made a comeback after being cancelled last year due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Unlike its usual schedule in May, the event was held in September this year. The celebrity co-chairs for the occasion included accomplished personalities such as actor Timothée Chalamet, musician Billie Eilish, poet Amanda Gorman, and tennis star Naomi Osaka.

Meanwhile, designer Tom Ford, sponsor Instagram’s Adam Mosseri, and Vogue’s Anna Wintour served as honorary chairs for the evening. Among the guests were also soccer player Megan Rapinoe, basketball player Russell Westbrook, and tennis players Serena Williams and Naomi Osaka.

The famous duo is blessed with three kids, two daughters named Riley (9) and Ryan (6), as well as their son Canon (3).

Steph wore a stylish navy blue suit that had unique designs on the top and back of the jacket.

Curry decided to personalize his cuffs by having his beloved basketball number 30 stamped on them.

As they attended the event, the famous duo sported protective facemasks while posing for photos.

On Monday, Ayesha shared pictures of her and her partner exploring New York City on Instagram. The post was labeled “Mom and Dad hit the NYC streets.”
