Meghan pretended to be pitiful, claiming she had to battle mental illness due to online abuse after being banned by the royal family from returning to the UK with Harry.

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle recently visited Nigeria on what was dubbed a ‘quasi-royal tour’ and now they have a second trip in the pipeline.

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have announced that they will visit Colombia for another pseudo-royal tour at the end of the year.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex have been invited by the Vice President of Colombia to visit the capital, Bogotá, and Pacific regions, Cartagena and Cali, at the end of the summer.

Their visit will address “cyberbullying, online exploitation, and their mental health impacts,” a cause Harry and Meghan have championed since stepping down as senior royals in 2020.

Multiple destinations and activities have been lined up in what many will see as another imitation royal tour.

In May, they spent several days in Nigeria, where they met schoolchildren, diplomats and servicemen and women in what had all the traditional hallmarks of an official visit from the Firm.

A statement by Francia Márquez released on Thursday read: “As the Vice President of Colombia and Minister of Equality and Equity, I am pleased to announce that Prince Harry and Meghan, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, have kindly accepted my invitation to visit our beautiful country.

“During their trip, the Duke and Duchess will join me in visiting Bogotá, as well as the Caribbean and Pacific regions of Cartagena and Cali.

“In these vibrant locations, they will have the exceptional opportunity to engage with leaders, youth, and women who embody the aspirations and voices of Colombians committed to progress. In addition to these meaningful interactions, the Duke and Duchess will experience the rich heritage of Colombia.

“Their visit comes at a particularly significant time, as it precedes the first Global Ministerial Conference on Ending Violence Against Children, to be held in Colombia this November.

“The Archewell Foundation, founded by the Duke and Duchess, is renowned for its global leadership in fostering a safer online environment.

“The forthcoming conference will unveil a comprehensive framework for creating safer physical and digital spaces, tackling issues such as cyberbullying, online exploitation, and the mental health impacts of these threats.

“It will offer actionable solutions and commitments for countries around the world. During their visit, the Duke and Duchess, as well as the Archewell Foundation, will engage in several activities related to this important topic.

“We are confident that their visit will further illuminate Colombia’s role as a beacon of culture and innovation.”

In May, Harry and Meghan headed to Nigeria for a royal tour in all but name. The visit was planned in connection with Prince Harry’s role as founder and patron of the Invictus Games, which supports wounded, injured and sick servicemen and women, both serving and veterans.

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s upcoming visit to Colombia is generating excitement and anticipation among the Colombian people. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are known for their dedication to important causes, and their focus on addressing cyberbullying and online exploitation is commendable.
