Despite the swirling rumors of marital trouble, Beyoncé showed her love and support for her husband Jay Z during her Formation World Tour.
The superstar singer dedicated her hit song ‘Halo’ to her “beautiful husband” and told the crowd in Miami that she loved him “so much”.
This came after she released her explosive new album Lemonade, which hinted at infidelity and betrayal in her relationship.
Beyoncé stunned the audience with her powerful and emotional performance of songs from Lemonade, which featured lyrics such as “He only want me when I’m not there
He better call Becky with the good hair” and “Looking at my watch, he should have been home / Today I regret the night I put that ring on”.
Many fans speculated that the album was a personal confession of Beyoncé’s marital woes, and tried to identify the mysterious “Becky” who allegedly had an affair with Jay Z.
However, Beyoncé seemed to put the drama behind her as she closed the show with ‘Halo’, a romantic ballad that celebrates love and forgiveness. She said to the audience: “I want to dedicate this song to my family, thank you guys for supporting me”.
She then added: “I want to dedicate this song to my beautiful husband, I love you so much”. Jay Z was in the audience, watching his wife with admiration and pride.
He did not join her on stage, as he usually does for their duets, such as ‘Crazy in Love’ and ‘Drunk in Love’.
Beyoncé’s gesture was a clear sign that she and Jay Z are still together and committed to each other, despite the controversy surrounding Lemonade.
The couple, who have been married since 2008 and have a four-year-old daughter named Blue Ivy, have faced several challenges in their relationship, such as the infamous elevator fight with Beyoncé’s sister Solange in 2014.
However, they have always maintained a united front and supported each other’s careers and endeavors.
