She discussed how raising both adopted and biological siblings requires navigating different backgrounds and honoring each child’s heritage. 

Jolie emphasized the need for openness and sharing in discussing adoption and orphanage, which are positive words in her household. 

For Jolie, each child brings a unique beauty to their family, and celebrating diversity is crucial.

In an interview with Vogue, Angelina Jolie shared her perspective on the significance of recognizing the roots of her three adopted children. 

As a proud mother, Jolie expressed her inability to speak about pregnancy but added that she could vividly describe the journey of finding her children and the emotions that came with it. 

She also emphasized the beauty of the mystery that comes with adopting children from different races and foreign lands, describing it as a precious gift that enriches the family’s experience.

Jolie has her hands full with six children, including three biological children named Shiloh, Knox, and Vivienne who are 12 and 11 years old respectively. However, before having her biological kids, Jolie became a mother to Maddox, Pax, and Zahara through the process of adoption, who are now aged 18, 16, and 15 respectively. Jolie strongly believes that non-biological children should not lose touch with their roots and should be honored and learned from. She considers it an amazing journey to share with them.

In 2017, she emphasized the importance of non-biological children staying connected to their roots. Additionally, during the same interview, the actress discussed her decision to end her marriage with Brad Pitt, whom she met on the set of Mr. and Mrs. Smith in 2004, for the well-being of their children. She stated that it was the right choice and that her focus remains on their healing. However, some individuals have taken advantage of her silence, leading to false information being spread about her children in the media. 

Despite this, she reminds her children that they know their own truth and possess strong minds. She proudly describes her children as six brave and resilient individuals.

Jolie recently shared with Vogue that she made the decision to prioritize the well-being of her family. The former power couple, who had been together for 10 years, tied the knot in August 2014.

However, Jolie filed for divorce in September 2016 following an alleged argument between Brad and their son Maddox on a private jet en route to Los Angeles. Brad was later cleared of any wrongdoing in November of that year. As a result of the divorce settlement, Angelina was granted physical custody of all six children, while Brad continues to have agreed-upon therapeutic visits with them.
