Mick Jagger’s career faces “de@th sentence” as his heart condition relapses. Doctors say he has only two years to live, leading him to severe depression and crisis

Sir Mick Jagger spent some quality time with his youngest son Deveraux in Paris this week, as he continued to celebrate his birthday.

The iconic singer, who turned 81 on Friday, looked in good spirits as he attended the Olympic Games and watched the fencing at the Grand Palais.

He appeared engrossed in the combat sport that features sword fighting, staring intently at the competition taking place in front of him.

He was joined by son Deveraux, 8, who he shares with his girlfriend Melanie Hamrick, 37.

At one point, Mick was spotted leaning over to the youngster, presumably to comment on what was going on. Another shot showed him smiling brightly in his direction.

The Rolling Stones rocker adopted a low-key outfit wearing a zip up hoodie over a jumper a spotted shirt. He hid his famous locks under a blue coloured baseball cap.

Deveraux, meanwhile looked very dapper in a paisley print shirt and blazer and just like his famous dad, kept his hair long.

Sir Mick has eight children and is father to Karis, 53 (by Marsha Hunt); Jade, 52 (by Bianca Jagger); Lizzie, 40, James, 38, Georgia May, 32, and Gabriel, 26 (by Jerry Hall); Lucas, 24 by (Luciana Gimenez Morad) and Deveraux.

It comes after the singer’s girlfriend Melanie shared a sweet birthday tribute his 81st birthday earlier in the week.

The former ballet dancer, 37, posted a slew of gorgeous family snaps to celebrate the singer’s special day, posing alongside their son Deveraux, eight.

‘Happy Birthday babe !! We love you ❤️,’ she captioned her latest Instagram post.

One shot captured the smitten couple posing for a mirror selfie as both sported elegant outfits, with Mick gently posing a hand on Melanie’s waist.

She was the epitome of class in a bejewelled black midi dress, while the rock legend sported a suit.

It was followed by a heart-melting snap of Mick holding his son’s hand behind the scenes ahead of a stage entrance.

In another selfie they posed beaming happily with Deveraux, who proudly rocked a black Rolling Stones baseball cap.

In another picture the American choreographer is seen buttoning up Mick’s shirt as the couple geared up for a swanky night.

The Rolling Stones icon and the former ballerina first met in February 2014 while they were both on tour at a Stone’s concert.

They didn’t become closer until the singer invited Melanie later on to join him for the rock band’s stop in Zurich.

Although they have never married, they have been happily dating for now ten years and in December 2016 they welcomed Deveraux.

The lovebirds ensured to catch the eye on Thursday as they put on an animated display at Louis Vuitton’s Prelude To The Olympics 2024 in Paris.

Mick pulled funny faces and stretched out his hand theatrically as he graced the event’s dark green carpet.

He wore a black suit with a floral design and paired it with a white shirt which he wore unbuttoned and with no tie.

Mick wrapped an arm around Melanie, who wore a sleeveless black dress.

The mother-of-one’s elegant dress had gold detailing which lined its bottom hem and crept up the side.

The event comes after Mick and the rest of The Rolling Stones concluded their Hackney Diamonds Tour in Missouri.

Hackney Diamonds was in support of their 2023 studio album Hackney Diamonds, their first studio album of original material in almost 20 years.

During their tour, The Rolling Stones were accused of ‘going woke’ for dropping Brown Sugar from their set list.

The song is controversial for its depictions of slavery against a sexual relationship with a Black woman.

Soon after, the Rolling Stones also dropped lyrics about presidential assassinations in one of their most popular hits following the attempt on second-time Presidential candidate Donald Trump’s life earlier this month.

In the 1968 Stones classic Sympathy for the Devil, the band’s frontman Mick sings: ‘I shouted out: “Who killed the Kennedys?” Well, after all, it was you and me.’

But when he performed the song at the last three dates of their Hackney Diamonds tour in the US, which all took place following the shooting of Trump on July 13, the lyrics were notably absent.

Instead, Mick completely dropped the third verse of the notorious song at live performances in Los Angeles and Santa Clara, California and Ridgedale, Missouri and instead left the whole verse out which references the Kennedys’ assassinations.

In place of the third verse, Stones guitarists Keith Richards and Ronnie Wood lead an instrumental break.

The original song lyric, written in 1968, asked ‘who killed John Kennedy?’ but Jagger pluralised the lyrics following the assassination of JFK’s brother Robert F Kennedy.
